One of the most common questions about modeling is whether or not a person is tall enough to be a model.
I have harped on this topic before, but I can’t stress it enough—it doesn’t matter what height you are…there is always a category or place in modeling for anyone, regardless of height, weight, gender, race, age, you name it.
Don’t let your fears or doubts get in the way of your capability to take on anything in your life! Yes, there are some categories that are more specific with height requirements, but don’t let that stop you!
Be the one that makes the change and steps into the light of being comfortable and owning your height. With that type of confidence, anyone would be lucky to work with you!
Photography Tip—Height! I have also mentioned this tip before, but this picture is a more visible representation of this trick. Taking photos from a lower angle creates the illusion of presenting yourself as being taller in a photo!
I am already tall as it is being 6’ 2” (6 ft 2 in), but adding this technique to capturing the photo, makes me look almost 8 ft tall haha!
Positive Thought—It is beyond important for us to accept ourselves for who we are, to be comfortable in how we look, and to be confident and proud enough to show it!
We are our own worst critics, but in the end we deserve to be proud of who we are in every way, shape, and form.
